Graduation nite outing(13/12/07)- Dhow Cruise Dinner

The whole batch of AB1109 had a great time at Dhow Cruise dinner. The cruise take 2 hours cruising around the Dubai Greek. The environment is so nice , romantic and beautiful, without the whole batch it will be so different. We enjoy the chit-chatting , the noise and the relaxation outside the training college. The time run so fast when we are having great accompanion with each others. Love AB 1109.

Emirates graduation day

Finally, after 6 weeks in training college, we reached the graduation hall. Feel excited and sad at the same time. Feel sad to leave lovely batchmates, after been so close and meet everyday, now is the time to leave. I really hope to fly with them. Wana get more interesting pic for Ab 1109, can view in facebook. I love the spirit of keeping Ab 1109 in close relationship as there is a AB1109 facebook. yeah.....

Service training

Two week of service training, we learnt to serve hot meal, light meal & bar service. From the very begining of the service is blanket & headset arrangement service, towel service, newspaper and giving away toy to kids. We learnt each step of the service and the language used to avoid any unpolite words used by crew. Its fun to learn how to serve passengers. Before we get to handle "real pax", we get served by a batch a week earlier thn us for their graduation evaluation mock-up. Beside that we served our batchmates as our training as well and the same goes to our last week will be evaluate by junior a batch later than us. Many thanks for Sonia and Nagla, our service trainer who bring all the joys and happy moment to us. We become so close for 2 weeks as we get to know each others and they see the efforts we put in... So happy that they comments that we did performed very good on our final DXB-LHR mock-up which made them both drop their tears and some of ours too. Viva for Abinitio 1109....:P Miss them so much T_T

Thanks to my dear chow hoong for giving me a flower suprise through online booking. Its so beautiful. I know its expensive becoz even a vegetables also almost 3 times compare to RM , i feel touch when the flower on my hand is so huge and its with a bear. :D

Group Medical Training

After learn to handle emergency situation on board, we need to learn how to handle first aid cases on board. Even i was a St'John Ambulance member but the memory is not fresh enough for me to be the expert if there is any medical emergency case happen on board. Its a good training week for us to learn how to handle bleeding cases, fractual cases, delivering baby cases, deliver bad news and even first aid , hearattack ect. Sound like we are trained to be nurse ya. hahaha.... i have that feeling too but i enjoying this subject as it are good for ourselves or aorund us if there is any small emergency happen on ground or on board.

Last day on SEP

I have past my Safety & Emergency Procedure training with lots memory and experience. I am happy to have Ashraf and Elham as our trainer, they were nice to me and let me know how far i can achieved in the training. It is also the first time i have so much praises and care from my traineer/ teacher. Love them so much.

Emirates uniform

Its our grooming day.

I know the uniforms is too big for me, i know the lipstic is too red (even 7 miles away also can see my lips) and i know the hart and scaf look weird on me. But this is the Emirates Uniform. This is the uniforms that passangers recognize Emirates. This is the Beauty of Emirates uniform (said by the Traineer.... ) *speechless*

Safety and Emergency Procedure Training

New experience on total different subject that i have never learn is the 1st challenge i facing during the very 1st taining SEP training. We learnt how to handle the situation during moderate turbulence, severe turbulence, anticipated evacuation, unanticipated evacuation and ditching. Eventhough the training is stressfull as we have lots of practical evaluation in simulator and lots exam and quiz, i enjoy it the most simply because i like to learn new subject. The simulator is the place whr it has the aircraft body for us to practice any scenario that might happen on board. The feeling and the situation in the simulator simular with the real aircraft, i realling feel nervous and scary too in the aircraft during turbulence, i believe none of us want that situation happen, but we are try to learn to handle every situation. I am proud to say Emirates really invest lot of money in the brand new simulator for us for training. Even some Airlines rent our simulator for training too. Let see how the simulator look like. The swimming pool is for practice ditching (evacuation on sea/water)

Induction week-1st training week

2 days after arrival in Dubai, started the 1st week of training which is the induction week. We have the introduction of Emirates, do all the medical check, snap photo for our id, briefing, uniforms' measurement etc. And is the time we meet our batchmates . I am in AB1109.

The happiest and saddiest moment on 2th Nov 2007

To my dear friend, i am leaving Malaysia to Dubai for a change in my life, to create a new page in my adventure life. Yes i am joining Emirates Airlines to be a cabin crew. The happiest moment is that my best friend came to KLIA to send me away , should feel sad ya but i appreciate their action, eventhough some of my best friend didnt turn up but i recieve all the wonderfull wishes from u all. I am sad to leave KL, a wonderfull place whr my family and friends gather in.
